Half Round Ridge Tiles can be dry fixed or mortar bedded and mechanically fixed. When ridge tiles are mortar bedded and mechanically fixed, use the Mortar Bedded Fixing Kit (9314). A 6 mm diameter hole should be carefully drilled centrally in each ridge tile.

Half Round Block End Ridge Tiles or Half Round Ridge End Caps must be used at the verge when using Cloaked Verge, Ambi-Dry Verge, DryVerge or Rapid DryVerge.

Half Round Block End Ridge Tiles are available in concrete only in all the same colours as Half Round Ridge Tiles. Half Round Ridge End Caps are available in colours Slate Grey and Rust.

Clay Capped Half Round Ridge/Hip Tiles are available for use with Hollander Clay Pantiles in Red and Brindle and Old Hollow Clay Pantiles in Vintage Blue and Vintage Red.

When Continuous Ridge is used with Hollander, use Rich Terracotta Half Round Ridge Tiles with Hollander Red and Terracotta Brindle Ridge Tiles with Hollander Brindle.

When using Old Hollow, Hollander, Regent, Grovebury, Fenland Pantile or Landmark Double Pantile with mortar bedded and mechanically fixed ridge tiles, bed Dentil Slips in the pans of the tiles.
